The low price of Bukopin’s shares is hampering Bosowa Corporindo’s plan to sell 30 percent of its shares in the bank. However, Bukopin’s rights issue plan for the middle of this year could offer an exit for Bosowa.

PT Bank Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) is still discussing the preparation of the rights issue with five securities companies: Credit Suisse, CIMB Sekuritas, Danareksa Sekuritas, Victoria Sekuritas, and Indo Premier Sekuritas. According to Bukopin President Director Eko R. Gindo, the company will issue new shares up to 30 percent of the total shares. This addition of capital has been postponed since 2016.
