Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang’s visit to Indonesia last week resulted in investment deals and economic cooperation. The problem is that investment realisation from China is coming more through Singapore. Projects that are often described as “investment from China” are more appropriate to be categorized as debt.
The first cooperation is the development of comprehensive regional economic corridors. The agreement was signed by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Panjaitan and Deputy of China National Development and Reform Commission He Lifeng.
