WTO Trade Dispute Puts Pressure on Indonesia

Indonesia faces difficulties in its trade dispute with the US at the World Trade Organization (WTO) regarding restrictions on imports of horticultural products and animals and animal products. This issue will be discussed on 15 August.

Indonesia only has two choices: to continue fighting that could lead to more severe retaliation, or accept trade sanctions worth US$ 350 million (Rp 5.0 trillion) from the US.
